With over 14 years of experience in the extractive resources sector, I am a passionate and driven policy expert. My mission is to assist businesses, governments and NGOs operating in the mining, oil, and gas industries to enable them raise resources and build an ecosystem that creates value for the communities they serve. Having worked in both the public and private sectors and having a background in law and governance, I bring diverse people centred perspectives and experiences to any table. At the Extractive Insight Centre, I lead a team of experts who offer full-spectrum services across the value chain, from geological consulting and due diligence support, to market strategies and risk management. I also manage the Centre's partnerships, collaborations and engagements with various stakeholders, including investors, regulators, communities and media. Some of the projects that I have contributed to include advising businesses on investment opportunities and regulatory environments, supporting governments on policy formulation and implementation and facilitating dialogue and learning among different actors. I have also leveraged my skills in legislative drafting, implementation of policies and frontline support to influence positive change in the extractives sector.
